Drove by this shop numerous times & someone where were staying mentioned that it was really good so we decided to pop in. Very yummy sandwiches! I got Jeff with a J & husband got the ricotti Italian. I loved the sandwich, the flavors mixed very well with a perfect sourdough bread. Hubby said his was good, a little on the spicy side. Also got the vanilla chicory oat milk latte & it was super good. Highly recommend checking this place out!

One of the best sandwich shops in PDX. Absolutely delicious and unique grinders and breakfast sandwiches. Ordering ahead is key—they are always on time and super friendly. The meatball grinder is my favorite, but they really don’t miss. Plus the vibe is awesome—probably exactly how I would run a sandwich shop if I opened one.

Food: *Sandwiches were good but not great - friend I was with agreed on that. We wanted to like it more than we did. Too much bread not a lot of flavor. I ordered the Italian and Underhill sandwich for context. Employees: *Attentive, nice, and cool looking staff. Place: *Quintessential Portland vibe with cartoon 80-00’s retro stickers all around. *Record store attached, uhh amazing! *Spacious inside where you don’t cannot hear everyone’s conversations. Pet: *They have a small outdoor area for dogs, unsure how they would be if a dog were indoors. Pros: *They sell great coffee along with latte options. *If you are lookin’ for that cafe with a “Portland ambiance” then this place is it. *Easy to find parking. Cons: *Sandwich shop is a bit secluded so you’d be going…here. Nowhere else to walk around. Tips: *Take lots of pix of this place! Definitely an artsy and fun place. Super friendly decor and staff throughout. *Grab a beer, wine, cider or seltzer for your next stop!

I wish I could give Lottie & Zola’s 10 stars- this place is like nothing else. I’m from New England so my sandwich standards are a bit different than the locals and this place has Consistently served me some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The Geoff is an amazing turkey gobbler style sandwich and the other photo is of the egg salad one. The people working here are also 10/10. Always a good vibe too. Plus they have cocktails, beers, coffee/ espresso/ and an amazing Arnold Palmer. Can’t say enough good things. Oh and they have a little record shop!

We are staying at the nearby hospital and had a day pass this weekend. One of the nurses recommended that we try this place out. It did not disappoint. We had a meatball sandwich, sausage breakfast sandwich, and bacon breakfast sandwich. Also had a Jose Canseco (lime drink) and a vanilla cream soda. The meatball sandwich was super good. We got the smallest size, 6 inch, and it was plenty since these are so stuffed with goodness. The breakfast sandwiches were equally good. The sausage is amazing as is the bolo bread they come on. The bacon tasted good but it is awfully thin and ends up feeling like it is lacking in protein. Pass on the bacon until it becomes more substantial, but definitely get the sausage version. The drinks were super yummy and at 16oz were reasonably priced. The atmosphere is so cool. The art in the restaurant is only matched by the art in the bathrooms. Check out the bathrooms, even if you don’t need to go. They also have a cool record store in the restaurant. Such a fun place. My son is temporarily in a wheelchair, and even though there is a step at the front door, they have a side entrance that is completely accessible. The amazing woman behind the counter saw us coming and rushed outside to ensure we were aware of the side door. Great customer service touch!
